You turned 2 on Friday and had your 2 year check up today.  It was a wonderful weekend celebrating you!!  Big Brother told you Happy Birthday every morning and gave you extra hugs. <3 p="">

nicknames | Monkey, a rhyme of your name, Baby

weight | 36.6 ' tall and 32 pounds!  97% and 89% respectfully.  Finally the percentages have swapped and you're taller than round.

size | 3T clothes, size 6 diapers and size 7 shoes

sleep | Bedtime is 730.  You're currently waking around 6AM, and napping right after lunch for about 2 hours.

eats |  Being home has not helped your picky food problems.  You get lots of veggie pouches, applesauce, yogurt, crackers and fruit to snack on.  You love chicken, beef, and (of course) carbs.  Our meals are on a pretty constant rotation so you aren't being exposed to as much as if you were at school.  Oh well, you are still growing!

loves | Being outside, chasing brother, and dancing.

dislikes | Getting your diaper changed (most of the time), not getting the toy brother is playing with, being in the car too long.

firsts | You left the house for the first time today since March 16th; other than a car ride that is.  You were so excited to see your Dr and all of the nurses that you had to tell EVERYONE hello and goodbye.  It was a mini parade on your way out of the office!  So stinking cute.

You sleep in your bed for nap no problem.  Every night you end up waking up and walking across the hall and into our bed.  I'm hoping that we can get you to stay in your bed all night here very soon.

#biggywigs - 22 Months

#biggywigs | 22 Months

This is being posted a month late.  I'm sorry baby.  I kept forgetting to pull some photos for the post.  Whoops.

weight | over 30 pounds and 33 inches :)  I'll have official measurements at your 2 year well check

size | 2 T clothes, size 6 diapers and size 6 shoes (though at 23 months you moved up to 3T clothes and size 7 shoes)

sleep | Bedtime is 7-730.  You're currently waking around 6AM, and napping right after lunch for about 1.5 to 2 hours.

eats |  You are defiantly more picky than your brother was at this age #secondkidprobs  You love applesauce, veggie pouches, and yogurt.  You eat well if you're distracted at meal time though.  You also don't like to drink milk, but you have plenty of dairy :)

loves | Being outside, chasing brother, and dancing.

dislikes | Getting your diaper changed (most of the time), not getting the toy brother is playing with, being in the car too long.

firsts | Being home for the past 2 weeks.  Your entire routine turned upside down and you handled it like a champ.  You've gotten a lot more TV than I'd like, but it's still only a limited number of shows.  You love getting out on a walk in the afternoon and your vocab has BOOMED since we've been home.

We also converted your crib to a toddler bed.  SOB.  However you HATED your crib and you love napping in your toddler bed now.  As much as I wanted you to be in a crib until 3 1/2 (like big brother, who LOVED his crib) I'm so happy you're sleeping better :)

#Biggywigs - 19 Months

#biggywigs | 19 Months

I was hoping to have an 18 month update, but the earliest I could get you in for a well check was at 19 months.

nicknames | monkey, a rhyme of your name, Baby

weight | 30 pounds and 33 inches.  You seem to be in the midst of a growth spurt right now though, some pants are suddenly getting short.

size | 2 T clothes, size 6 diapers and size 6 shoes

sleep | Bedtime is 7-730.  You're currently waking around 5AM (ugh) but then you want a nap by 7AM.  School only allows you to take one nap - you average 2 hours.  At home you take 1-2 naps that total 3 or more hours.

eats |  You LOVE applesauce and yogurt.  So much so that we have a limit on how much you can eat each day!  You are picky, but you also eat most everything I give you....eventually.  You have a healthy appetite and use utensils and drink from a regular cup (!!)

loves | 'Reading' books to yourself.  Playing outside, following big brother around, and stealing my snacks.

dislikes | Getting your diaper changed, being over tired, and not getting to do everything brother does

firsts | Words : Dada, Brother, Mama, Bye Bye, No, More, Please, Water, Apple (for applesauce), 'Nack, Ball, But-Ball (football), Book, Dog, Nana (banana), Hat, Baa (sheep), and Go.  You can run backwards, "brush" your own teeth, and you try so hard to put on your own jacket and shoes.  You've moved up to the 18-2 year old room at school and YOU LOVE IT.  

Mama |  WOW!  Honey, I'm just blown away by you.  You are so stinking smart.  You watch everything big brother does and then you do it to.  I'm just glad your a smidgen too short to reach the door knobs to turn them!  Haha.  You are so independent and at the same time, just in love with your big brother.  You want to do everything he does, right by his side, sometimes right on top of him :)  You give the best hugs and you are a complete snuggle bug.  You are so content to just curl up in my arms to take a nap.  As a fellow cuddler, this make Mama very very happy.

You love school and I can see how much you bloom while you're there.  #wiggydiggy didn't have a Montessori beginning like you, so I'm  more aware of the differences.  You eat so well with your utensils and drinking out of a big boy cup.  You even wipe down the table and chair!   You love to sit with a stack of books and 'read' them out loud.  I love you to the moon and back.  I'll love you forever.

#biggywigs - 12 months

#biggywigs | 12 Months

nicknames | monkey, baby, a play on your name

weight | Going off of best guess here - 27ish pounds and 32 inches long.  Your one year appointment is next week, so I'll update it then.
Dr's Office says 26 pounds and 30 1/2 inches (you squirmed while getting measured, so I'm guessing you really are over 31")

size | 24 month clothes, size 6 diapers, size 4 or 5 shoes

sleep | Bedtime is about 7.  You wake for an early nurse session around 430/5 and sleep until 630 or so.

eats | You LOVE food!  You still nurse twice a day (morning and night).  Mother's Day weekend you dropped your lunch nursing.

loves | Standing and faux-walking.  Dancing with mama.  Bath time.  Stroller walks.  Playing with big brother.

dislikes | Diaper changes, nose wipes, changing clothes, and not getting the toy you want.

firsts | You just starting teething again two nights ago.  You have 8, so we're working on tooth 9 (and maybe even 10.)  I gave you your first haircut!   

Momma | 1!!  Baby, you're 1!!  I am so amazed at how quickly this year has gone.  I love you SO much, my little mini me.  You are so fun, even though you're very mischievous.  I can tell that you'll keep up on our toes as you grow!  I love you so much.

#biggywigs - 11 Months

#biggywigs | 11 MONTHS

weight |  Our best guess is 26 pounds and about 31 inches.  I personally think you're taller, but we'll find out for sure next month :)

size | Mostly 24 month, you still have a few 18 month pieces that fit. Size 6 diapers solely because you need the girth around your waist.  Size 5 fits better everywhere else.

sleep |  YOU SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!!!!!  WOO!!!!!!!!  We finally buckled down and I night weaned you.  Took three days and you've been sleeping 630/645 to 530/545 every night since.  You may cry out if you lose your paci, but otherwise YOU SLEEP!!  You take a morning nap around 9 for about an hour and a half and another nap around 1 for a hour or so.

eats | Everything.  Anything.  You nurse three times a day (530ish, 1130ish and 630ish)  You eat breakfast around 6 with big brother, have a snack around 8 at school, lunch at 11 (I come visit you after to nurse), snack at 3, dinner at 5, and we nurse before sleep.

loves | Exploring!  You want to crawl/stand/cruise everywhere and see everything.   You LOVE books and puzzles. We read everyday and you love turning the pages and discovering them all on your own.  You are so much like your brother in this regard.  You adore him and follow him everywhere.  You LOVE food and eat everything we give you.

You also got your first massive head bruise.  Whomp whomp.  You slipped on the floor while crawling and your forehead broke your fall.  

dislikes | Waiting to eat, not getting to play with big brother, not being held by mama.

firsts |  You said AND signed your first word!!  All Done!  Haha.  You babble all day, but that phrase/word is clear as day.

Momma | I love you Monkey!!  You are such a fun baby, will all of your expressions and sounds.  I love seeing you first thing in the morning, you are all smiles and yells.  You are just so excited to nurse :)  Your cheeks are so kissable that I probably kiss them 1000 times a day and that still isn't enough.  Thank you for finally sleeping through the night.  Mama really needed it.  I can't believe your first birthday is next month!  This year has flown and I can't imagine a life without you.

Daddy |   My big, little 11 month old!  You are motoring around pretty good on your hands and knees and climbing up to standing position whenever possible.  I love how you light up when I come home from work and we see each other while you are in your highchair.  I love your giggles when big brother makes a funny face at you.  You are a curious little boy and can empty a shelf of books in almost one swipe.  I love you so much!
